I’ve been thinking a lot about courage lately. Sometimes it might seem as though courage is the absence of fear, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Courageous people appear fearless and confident, and sometimes they are shaking from their boots up. Sharing your passions with the public, trying something you aren’t sure will work, speaking your mind when faced with confrontation.

Sometimes it might even mean showing up when that’s the very last thing you feel like doing… I am thankful for courage, because I doubt I will ever be fearless, however, the more we show our children and those around us who are watching that we can step into our fears because of courage, I do believe we WILL and ARE setting an example and cultivating fearlessness, in ourselves and those we care about.
